Our programs, delivered in Spanish, help Hispanic women become successful entrepreneurs and business leaders start or grow their existing business by providing training and development courses, webinars and seminars, as well as one-on-one mentoring. We believe that by helping these women become successful entrepreneurs they will also be successful community leaders.
Currently, there are approximately 2 million Hispanic women-owned businesses in the United States. In order to continue expanding economic opportunities in our communities, it is critical that Hispanic Women are given the tools to be successful entrepreneurs.
EmpreLatina Academy provides both aspiring Hispanic women online and face-to-face courses, workshops, and seminars to help them grow their business.
We believe in the power of education. Our need-focused training and personal connections focus on empowering Hispanic women.
Hispanic Women’s Community Empowerment
We work with churches, NGOs, community organizations, and associations to design and support training initiatives that help Hispanic women build entrepreneurial and business skills to help them start and sustain a successful business.
Our Impact mentorship program fosters the growth of Hispanic women entrepreneurs. By engaging with an individual who has a successful business, mentors can act as role models, and help our mentees overcome internal barriers created by a lack of knowledge. We match subject-matter Hispanic mentor experts with existing prospective women Hispanic entrepreneurs to provide guidance on how to start and maintain a successful business.
We are working towards offering annual “pitch” competitions for Hispanic women entrepreneurs to win Grants. We know that access to capital is one of the biggest challenges for Hispanic women entrepreneurs and we are dedicated to helping improve that.
