About Brendan
Board Member
Brendan O’Connor is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in corporate strategy, small business development, early-stage startups, and sales execution.
He is the Founder and Principal of The Brushton Group, a boutique strategy consultancy. Prior to his current role, Brendan was an executive at Cisco Systems in San Jose, CA and at the Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, WA.
Brendan’s expertise lies in developing partnerships and developing growth strategies to help scale small businesses to realize their potential. Before joining Microsoft, Brendan held positions in venture capital and the defense industry. He holds an MS in Industrial Administration (MBA) and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, both from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Hispana Realizada provides Hispanic women entrepreneurs and business leaders resources, mentoring, and a variety of training and development programs and solutions in Spanish to expand establish or expand a business and promote women’s empowerment all while stimulating local economies.
Our Mission
To empower Hispanic women so they may reach their full potential and become agents of change and influence for themselves and their families through entrepreneurship, mentoring, training, and development support.
